Rock the park after dark. Get ready for Howl-O-Scream.

Overview

With the understanding that different groups have different needs this page asks the visitor what kind of group they have and when they’re thinking about visiting.

Based on this information, we present them with a tour of pages customized for that group/season that can be viewed sequentially or non-linearly.

This page will also feature a CMS-driven “announcements” bar that will rotate through any currently active announcements. If a corresponding link was specified, the announcement will link to a page with more information.

    Jason,

We've already started to build out the navigation for the homepage group/season selector so I made the change in there instead of here in the wireframe.

    Skye,

I forgot to add a change for the home page. can we please take off the word "Group" at the end of each ... group? For example: instead of saying, "Corporate Groups, Youth Groups, Performance Groups, Other Groups" can we please just say, "Corporate, Youth, Performance, Other>"

    Jason,

The wireframe will just have the placeholders. We won't spend time programming that functionality into the wireframe—we'll just describe it here and then program the actual functionality into the real deal.

I'm probably jumping ahead of things a bit but once we get a little more down the road with this the wire frame will reflect the proper responses that go with the group and season we choose ... correct? Right now I know we just have place holders.

Group and Season selections on this page now more accurately reflect the actual selection process. The effect of choosing a season is described on the "Seasonal Feature" placeholder page within a a group's tour.

    Virginia,

We had some questions about the specific implication details and how the date selection affects which pages are part of a group's set. We can go over some of these on our call next week. Thanks!

We would need to set dates for each season like spring would be March 28-May 1. something like that.

The season should affect what there is to do and then is served up in either the top 5 reasons or in the events calendar-

Fall- Howl-O-Scream Winter- Christmas Summer- Concerts etc.
